Rebecca's father was a minister for over 50 years together with his wife and her mother Raquel. Both are authors and her best supporters. He said he read the book 2 times and was surprised to learn of some of the difficulties Rebecca and Josue experience, but so proud of how they overcame their trials.
When she was a child he deeply instilled in her values of love, kindness, leadership grit, good character, giving your best love for God and service to others. He left an example of love for his family, church and community. The example he set of devoted husband, running a church and working together with his wife who is also a minister, made a deep impression on Rebecca's life and created a solid foundation for Rebecca. They would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary the year of his passing. He is sorely missed and fondly remembered. Her mission now is to keep his Legacy going through her work.
